Today is the first day of the year to choose what you believe. It is the first Friday the 13th and for some it is a bad luck day. Here is the thing you can choose to see bad omens and the negative side to everything. If you do, everyday is a bad luck day. It is a mindset. This fun little gray spaghetti in our heads will look for what we tell it, unless you have a diagnosed condition, most people can direct their thoughts. Most of us can recondition our minds to see the good. Not overnight. But over a decent period of time, we can see the good in life. We can change from hide the world is out to get me, to hello the world is out to help me. Both are effective ways to stay alive and can get you killed. I don’t want to bullshit you on this. Some people swim with sharks and don’t realize they are the next meal. Naïvety will not get you where you want to go. So, be smart about the attitude you choose.
Life is full of games. Our attitudes determine how much fun we can have while we play, if any at all.
