Believe in yourself.
Don’t get distracted by the shiny objects in front of you.
In the animated Aladin movie. Aladin goes into the cave of wonders. He is told to touch nothing but the lamp. The cave is full of gold and treasures. Yes, he makes it to the lamp with the Genie. But the monkey, touches a jewel and the place melts away. This fate of having immediate treasure going wrong happened to a bunch of people before Aladin got the lamp. The instant satisfaction of money over real power to change is offered to us all. Those who take the money, lose the power to change. They build their world around temporary satisfaction. Pursuing a goal- a means to a better life has more worth than instant money.
Pursuing who you are, will in my opinion, unlock your genie. It frees you to put your whole self into action. It removes the work of pretending. Being you frees you to pursue goals, dreams, and a lifestyle that is in line with who you are. If you are not a boss- you don’t have to be. If you are not good under pressure- you don’t have to be. If you are good with deadlines, deal making, and debating- do it. There is no one size fits all. Your wishes, goals, and dreams come true when you make them.
