The First Is A Great Day To Start

Good morning, let’s go.

Start something new today. It is the first. You have 31 days, including today to do something you think is cool. 31 days to build a new habit, lose five pounds, gain strength or just learn a new skill. Personally, I like to take the NaNoWriMo, challenge and fail at it, month. This happens to be one of those months. I already started and I’m about 700 hundred words in. To get it done, I have to write at least twice a day. The second shift is under less finishing pressure. So, the goal is from 4:15 am to 5 am I work on the Novel. Then this blog and get ready for work. I am sure it will change, because I have a new physical goal to hit, so this blog may take a slight hit in consistency. But I doubt it. We are here Monday through Friday. And writing like this is much faster for me than writing fiction.

So, I am doing something. What are you going to do? What are you going to do that lights up your imagination? What are you going to do that makes you feel alive? What are you going to do that makes you want to get better?

Here is the thing, you don’t have to be good at something to start. You just have to start. Don’t think about it too much. Just pick something you have been wanting to do and over complicating why you haven’t, then start.

I got shit to do, so I’m out.

have a great day.
