Plague Rat

So, I’ve got the Mother Fucking Covid! Two years of avoiding this shit, gotta say, it was worth the effort.

But to no avail, we got hit with the vid. In my own delusional thoughts of grandeur, I really thought I was going to be able to take care of my family without getting it. Well, we can all be Superman in our heads, but in reality we are just the people of Metroplis. We are all normal as much as we would not like to be. Shit, I forced myself to workout yesterday and today. Good idea, probably not. It is just one of those stupid things old people do. We think we can do things that aren’t really sensible but seem responsible. Its what happens after years of being forced to work sick, go to school sick, and to tough out whatever situation we are put in. So, I’ve got a week of being in isolation. A week, I really can’t complain, but something tells me it will feel like forever.

Anyway, being sick sucks. I really don’t want to be the reason anyone else gets sick. I know, there are plenty of selfish assholes out there who don’t care about others. Those people, they are truly the fucking plague rats and parasites of humanity. They do not care that their decisions have consequences for others. It is a damn shame. They refuse to do the bare necessities to help others. They are like the guy or gal that takes a shit at work, then heads right back to work in the kitchen, while you watch them in awe in the mirror as you wash your hands. Those kind of people are the reason we are still in this mess and we will be for a while.
